My Honest GKDY Portable Monitor Review

First and foremost, this monitor is much superior than others I bought and soon returned. It has the appearance and feel of a genuine display yet is portable in size. That’s exactly what I wanted. Second, it was ready to use straight away. I connected in my USBc to USBc cable and it powered right up and functioned with no additional power chord required, giving me the option of fast setting up and running off of my laptop battery. If you don’t have a powered USBc, they provide a USBC power converter and cleverly place the USBc power port on the other side of the monitor so you may use it powered by the adapter USBc while still driving the displays with your USBc to USBc. Also just what I was looking for. Third, they provide an HDMI to HDMImini cable, allowing you to quickly connect any PC with an HDMI connection to this monitor.

GKDY Portable Monitor also features two speakers and a basic yet safe stand. I can now simply set up an office anywhere and yet have the productivity of two displays while operating entirely on batteries if necessary. After suffering with so many inferior monitors for around the same price, if not more, I am quite pleased with this purchase. I seldom give 5 stars, but on this occasion I will since they met every single need I had. This monitor, unlike so many others, looks to have been created by someone who really uses them. I will modify my review once I have used it for a few weeks and put it through its paces, but at the unpacking and early setup stage, it is great for my purposes.
