My Honest Faltopu Projector Review
For a reasonable price, you get a small projector with a large output. For scale, see the AppleTV next to the projector. When the image is 64″ diagonal and about 8 feet away, it is very good (throw distance). As the size increases beyond 8′, the resolution decreases or becomes blurry.
For comparison, the images I’ve attached show testing on a 110-inch screen. The screen quality is excellent at the 64″ size. I discovered that the built-in audio does not support Dolby, so set your plugged-in devices, such as an AppleTV, to stereo. After that, the sound from such a small device is quite impressive. Simple audio out jacks out to stereos also work.
I’d like to see a USB power adapter so that it can be connected to a car or backup battery. Otherwise, we keep a car adapter on hand, so it’s not a deal breaker.
Overall, Faltopu projector an excellent mini projector. Expect it to not be able to replace your movie or living room projector. It is excellent for use as a night projector in a child’s room, especially when space is limited. It is excellent for compact travel due to its small size. This will be ideal for my children’s Nintendo Switch on road trips or for a camping trip movie night.
