My Honest ARTSEA M8 Projector Review
I wasn’t anticipating much from a projector in this price range, but I was pleasantly pleased. First and foremost, it is substantially brighter than the pico DLP projector I was previously using. However, the colors are not washed away; the saturation remains excellent. After loading a test pattern, it becomes clear that this is an actual 480p projector, which is excellent. I’ve seen a couple of tiny projectors billed as 480p that were really 360p upscaled to 480p. Because 480p is the native resolution of every retro gaming system, this is an excellent contender. I tried it on a Super Nintendo (with a composite connection, of course), and the results were fantastic. I wish the remote was a bit heavier, but other than that, it’s a terrific buy.
