My Honest Review on DR. J Professional AK-30 LCD Projector
The performance of this product exceeded my standards. It is a high quality commodity available at a very affordable price. The picture is awesome and competitor if it’s not greater than my LED TV. The colors are sharp and recognizable and giving the picture absolute realism. Even when I watched a film in the middle of the day with the blinds drawn, I was shocked by the clarity of the picture. It’s bright enough to admire the quality of the image throughout the day and it’s particularly nice to watch a movie with the lights off to enjoy a home theater feeling.
I brought DR. J Professional AK-30 LCD projector for work (Educational University) and set up it in one of our classrooms. When I was checking it one of our Audio Visual Technicians paused to see what I was doing. I told him that I felt the projector was working as good as the classroom projectors ($5,000 projectors) installed in the ceiling that I used during the presentations. He said the white balance was different, but when I showed a white context spreadsheet, he said not bad.” Not bad for a $250 projector compared to a $5,000 professionally built university projector. Granted, the highest end equipment is projecting a picture 50 to 100 foot in an auditorium with more background light, but once I have a space that wide, I’m more than pleased with Dr. J.

As for customer service, I still own Dr J Professional 2600. After viewing the company’s website, I had some concerns about the DR. J Professional AK-30 projector. I was shocked by the amount of customer service offered. When I started to glance through the specs and check out the Dr J page, I learned that there was a program update available that would improve the performance lumens from 2600 lux to 3600 lux. I called Linda, who was really supportive and supported me with the requisite software fix. I applied it and was shocked at the final outcome. I am confident that the organization can supply this commodity with an equally excellent operation.
