The 23.8″ ASUS VY249HE display is fitted with ASUS BacGuard, an antibacterial ion silver coating added to the midframe and hotkeys to prevent 99 percent bacterial development for a more sanitary surface. With Eye Care Plus, the VY249HE features additional color enhancement and rest reminder modes for a much more user-friendly experience.

My Honest Review on ASUS VY249HE Monitor

So much, to enjoy this monitor. It’s a second monitor for me, so maximum specs aren’t really essential. There are, of course, bigger, more costly monitors if you really need better resolution or quicker refresh rate, but my primary monitor is the more essential one, so I only compared the screen size and resolution to my primary monitor for this one, so I didn’t want to spend more than 60 Hz refresh rate.

The ASUS VY249HE monitor is extremely light. I got a variant of the bezel-less. My VIVO pneumatic display mount hardly required any retention modification, because the monitor is so light. Love a cute little lunette. Controls are intuitive and quicker to click the keys than my older Asus. (Buttons positioned vertically on the back of the display for this one and horizontally on the front of the monitor for my older one. Keys on the rear are easier to click without changing the direction of the screen, just pinch the display with the thumb in the front. Horizontal front buttons were still uncomfortable to use for me)
