The device emits a lot of light. If I’m looking at anything with a high contrast, such as text, I don’t have to shut my windows. The color isn’t as nice as it might be on more costly projectors, but it’s enough for me. It is extremely simple to switch between settings such as regular and eco, since just one button is required. This is especially useful since the bulb has a lifetime. If I know I’ll be gone from the computer for a few minutes or will just be looking at text, I can turn it to super eco mode in two seconds.
The SuperEco flickers at 240hz; switching to a different refresh rate solves this.

That is my primary setting. I believe it just dims when the screen is dark. According to the instructions, it has a longer bulb life than eco (but not super eco).
If you want 240hz, make sure your resolution is 1920 by 1080. If the resolution is 1920 by 1200, it will default to 120hz.
