My Honest Review on YABER Y31 Projector

This projector is amazing!! I purchased this with an inflatable projector to have an outdoor movie night for my birthday, and it worked like a charm. The photo was fantastic watching the game before dinner, and it was fine. The brightness was fine, it didn’t slip in and out. The remote is a robust one. Actually, everything I needed.

I was a little worried about the price because it may not be really nice compared to other more expensive projectors, but I would purchase it from any epson or other brand. Outside the photo at night, it’s really clean and sharp. It began pouring, so we went indoors and used it on a green wall. The color of the wall did not impact the image at all! Then, I tried the YABER Y31 on a white wall, and the image was always wonderful. I’m doing that for the camp I’m planning to manage next year.

It is really vivid and can be used in a living room with lamp illumination, although it is best used in a dim setting. It lacks optical zoom but can be digitally zoomed, which I think limits the maximum resolution but is a good touch. Most projectors tend to have problems with blurring along the edges when text is out of view, but I didn’t see this with this one. However, I do have a stand that I use to lift the projector so that it is level with my screen, which could be useful. The projector often switches on and off instantly.

The fan noise is noticeable, but with movie background, you don’t hear it. You still have two brightness settings on the remote to immediately lower/increase the brightness, which can extend the existence of the LED bulbs, and I found that it automatically decreases fan noise. The built-in speakers are also excellent. They’re noisy, just not enough for a large space, and I’d have to sit next to the projector to hear them. They’re perfect for a portable setup, but I’d consider getting some home theater speakers for a more permanent setup. About the fact that the projector comes with a power cord, remote, HDMI cable, AV converter, and cleaning cloth, I would like to see a carrying case included, or at the very least the opportunity to buy one separately. Though the cardboard box that comes with the projector may be used, it is not a long-term solution. For the price, this is an excellent 1080P projector. I will like this one over the ones I’ve looked at.
