IMPECCABLE COLOR: More accurate color and a higher contrast ratio work together to provide really high-end image quality. LG 34BK95U-W Monitor comes with High dynamic range (HDR) which emphasizes bright and dark areas of the picture, but Nano IPS better regulates color, supporting 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color space with support for 1.07 billion colors, the digital film industry standard, which is 35 percent bigger than sRGB 100 percent. Excess light wavelengths are absorbed by nanometer-sized particles on the screen’s LED, resulting in richer color expression that faithfully reproduces the information, from realistic photos and movies to CG.

CLEARER and BRIGHTER HDR: Experience a more vivid image with high dynamic range, which creates greater contrast between the screen’s brightest and darkest parts. LG 34BK95U-W VESA Certified HDR 600 monitor boasts a peak brightness of 600 nits, resulting in undoubtedly brilliant highlights.

FOR CONTENT CREATORS: Multitaskers may now work in a large 5:9 area while watching a 16:9 4K movie on the same screen. LG 34BK95U-W 5K2K 21:9 display provides 5120 x 2160 resolution designed for video editors, programmers, and developers, as well as simple single-cable Thunderbolt 3 connection. It is able to watch information from practically any position using the 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles. There is one Thunderbolt 3 / USB Type-C port, one DisplayPort port, and two HDMI ports on this panel. If you want to use the USB ports on this display, there are one USB Type-B port and two Type-A ports, and audio may be produced via the twin inbuilt 5W stereo speakers or the 3.5mm headphone socket. It has a vertical tilt range of -5 to 15° and a height adjustment range of 4.3″.

Thunderbolt 3: This flexible and small connector offers 40 Gb/s data transfers and high-bandwidth video, including a 4K signal to two distinct displays or 5K/60 fps to a single screen, with a single cable for video, audio, and data transfers, as well as simultaneous laptop charging up to 85W.

My Honest LG 34BK95U-W Monitor Review

I spent a LONG time looking for the best display to go with my 13″ MacBook Pro. The most important feature is a USB-C connection, which means that the computer and screen are connected by a SINGLE CABLE. It transports electricity for the laptop as well as audio, video, and data. Whatever you put into the two normal USB ports on the screen is instantly “plugged in” to the laptop.

However, the Mac’s screen boasts 218 pixels per inch (ppi) and is a Retina display. Before locating this LG, I purchased two other 34″ monitors and returned both…because their resolution was 109 ppi! HALF the brightness. The text was hazy! After getting acclimated to the MacBook Pro screen, I couldn’t stand it.

This one has 163 ppi, which is a significant improvement. RAZOR sharp text and graphics The colors and brightness are fantastic. I haven’t had any of the sleep/discovering-the-Mac concerns mentioned in other reviews.

LG 34BK95U-W is the ONLY ultrawide display with 163 ppi produced by ANY manufacturer. I’m overjoyed. I could look at that all day (and will).

Be prepared for murky sound from the speakers. And I wish there were more than two USB connections on the rear; I had to purchase a USB dock to fit my microphone, camera, Bluetooth mouse receiver, card reader, and backup disk.

Otherwise, this is pure visual bliss.
