My Honest GVS SPR457 Elipse P100 Dust Half Mask Respirator Review
The RESPIRATOR is designed to fit beneath the welding HOOD. It’s as little and tiny as a Prius. However, it works. It conveniently fits behind the welding HOODS. I’m now welding galvanized studs for exterior panels at Chester Hospital in Pennsylvania. Galvanized heavy gauge studs are welded to painted steel beams. See Figure.
I can only smell the filters when using this mask. The picture of the STOCK P100 Filter applied is after 3 days of use. This equates to around 16 hours of actual welding stop and go. I’m affixing the panels to the building’s floor. So I’ll have to place my head between the floor studs, with my head above where I’m welding.
