My Honest Review on Gigabyte AERO 15 SA-7US5130SH Laptop
This computer is very well built, lightweight and fitted with Intel’s new 9th generation hex processor, as well as RTX 2060, 512GB NVME drive and 16GB dual-channel memory, with a second NVME slot in a very simple to customize configuration: no “upside down” motherboard designs here! PLUS, it has Thunderbolt 3 port, RJ-45 port if you choose for a wired link, SD Card Reader, and all the regular ports available: USB3.1, HDMI. It’s filled with choices that might be used. Oh, don’t mention the 15″ OLED panel! Stunning! Accurate colour, great for content developers who need color fidelity. And, games look really decent as well. You can still go from 4K to 1920×1080 for your games to have potentially better frame rates, and even though this monitor is locked at 60hz, the game has a possible frame rate well above that, it just increases the view at 60hz. Yeah, and the 9th Gene Intel Proc is a definite upgrade over its 8th Gen cousin. Now, if you’re a serious gamer, you may be able to pick a 240hz screen, and probably a higher RTX option, just be mindful that although there might be some thermal throttling, it’s nothing that you can’t manage by undervolting and/or using a cooling pad if you think it clings to your style that much. Didn’t concern me or any of the rigorous checks that were carried out on this laptop.
Gigabyte AERO 15 SA-7US5130SH laptop is really powerful, and every time you transform the hexacore processor into thin and light (emphasis this again!), heat might be a matter of concern, but it never stopped me from having fun with several of the AAA games I’m playing, it doesn’t stop my style from doing some premiere rendering and editing and Quick! Both of them well under 5#. Definitely worth your consideration, particularly with the beautiful 15″ OLED screen: the same one that the those laptop manufacturers are using with their OLED offerings. Pick up the extra protection as well. It’s worth coverage for the price. And while no one will predict the durability of this new offering from Gigabyte/Aero, if first impressions mean something, our granddaughter can find the longevity of this new offering from Gigabyte/Aero.
