I have been an iRobot Roomba customer since 2007. This month, my old Roomba died, and I did a lot of research before purchasing a replacement. I chose the Eufy for a variety of reasons, including pricing, cleaning power, quietness, and elegant appearance.

The cost is really affordable. eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S Vacuum Cleaner is almost cheap enough that I’d consider acquiring another one for my second story. For the time being, I’ll simply bring it upstairs.

Cleaning ability: It has considerably greater suction than my Roombas. It collects a lot of dust and pet hair. We vacuum thoroughly every other week with my Dyson, thus I consider the robot vacuum to be additional. I was astounded by how much was in the trash can after the first cleaning! The image included is from that cleaning. It also collects a lot of dust in the little dust filter. One of the video reviews I viewed said that it did not pick up anything in the dust filter… So it’s possible that my carpet is unusually dusty since it has a thick coating after each cleaning.

Quietness: I work from home, and this device is so silent that I don’t even turn it off during conference calls. This is maybe the thing that most impresses me. My last Roomba was LOUD—you couldn’t even talk to someone in the same room, much alone someone on speakerphone.

I love/hate the sleek design. eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S Robot Vacuum Cleaner looks futuristic and sophisticated, more like an art piece than an appliance, but it displays all of my fingerprints, so I have a glasses cleaning cloth handy so I can wipe it down. Several things to consider: I was expecting to discover a robot vacuum that wouldn’t devour the tassels on my carpets, but I don’t believe such a vacuum exists. I’ve only used the Eufy four times so far, and its brushes don’t always get tangled around the long tassels, but they do sometimes. It seems to recognize it sooner than my Roomba did. The Roomba would sometimes tear large amounts of them off in a single cleaning. I attempt to tuck them beneath the rug’s edge, but Eufy doesn’t seem to mind. So far, it has probably removed two tassels.

The cleaning pattern seems to be haphazard. I’ve seen other vacuums that create intricate maps of your house, but Eufy doesn’t seem to do so. It doesn’t seem to matter, however, since it still seems to touch every point in the rooms.

I’m worried about the durability. My Roombas served me well for many years, with readily changeable components. We’ll have to wait and see whether eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S Vacuum Cleaner has the same stamina.

Overall, I’m really pleased with my purchase and would suggest it!
