My Honest Review on Denon AVR-X3700H AV Receiver
I was on the fence about upgrading to a new Dolby Atmos, DTS-X compliant AVR, but I needed a new HDMI switch for the other system changes I was making. With its array of functions, this gadget was reasonably priced and should be able to accommodate my theater setup. My initial setup was 5.2.4, but after testing 7.2.2, I preferred the immersive tone of this arrangement. Atmos and DTS-X sound amazing, while DD+ and DTS are boosted by the device’s surround application.
I’m neither an audiophile or a videophile, but I’ve had a dedicated theater since 2007, and I feel this is the best sound system I’ve ever had. I’ve always liked my theater, but after attaching a second subwoofer to this machine and enjoying the aural immersion, I’m like a kid in a candy store. And very frankly, Denon AVRX3700H is a bargain at $899!
