The Dell SE2419H monitor features an IPS-type 60Hz 27 “(In-Plane Switching or similar) screen. The monitor supports 8-bit color through 6-bit + FRC dithering, with a full HD resolution of 60Hz. A 5ms grey to grey response time is specified, which should always be treated with caution.
The Dell SE2419H monitor has a sleek home look, with now popular dual-stage bezels (InfinityEdge as Dell refers to it). They consist of a thin panel border circling the image as well as a very thin hard plastic outer portion. The bezels remain thin on both sides and weigh all components; ~5 mm (0.20 inches) at the top and sides and ~9 mm (0.35 inches) at the bottom (~19 mm or 0.75 inches if taken at the bottom of the diagonal sloped segment, farther back). The main feature from the front is the 23.8 “glossy panel, which uses a very mild anti-glare product as explored later.
The Dell SE2419H has a response time of 5ms, which prevents much of the ghosting and trailing of fast moving objects. With a refresh rate of 60Hz, the monitor is not meant for players, but you will still be able to enjoy casual gaming thanks to the vivid colors and sensitive output of the panel. In fact, the Dell SE2419H provides excellent input lag output with just ~3ms of delay. You may also overclock the refresh rate of the display to ~70Hz, based on your individual device.

The IPS glow and backlight flickering of the display is small, with no conspicuous light leakage through the screen under usual viewing conditions. Overall, the Dell SE2419H 1080p display delivers excellent value for daily use, but if you are looking for a display specifically for games, there are better options to this price point.
