My Honest BenQ MOBIUZ EX3210U Monitor Review
I’m providing an unbiased review; I have not been compensated or sponsored in any way (I wish). To cut to the point, this monitor is incredible and well worth the money you’ll spend on it. When I discovered the specifications of the PlayStation 5, I began doing extensive research on displays. I mostly play first-person shooters (FPS) like Call of Duty in the background, thus I prefer to play on a monitor. I was disappointed to hear that there is currently no single monitor that supports 4K gaming at 120Hz with a 2.1 HDMI connection. If you don’t have 2.1 HDMI, you’ll be limited to 4K/60hz until you upgrade to 1080p/120hz. For a time, I considered upgrading to a 4K display, but ultimately concluded that the increase in frames per second is more thrilling. In addition, I don’t believe the aesthetic benefits would be as noticeable from a distance. I also have a Vizio M series television that I’d want to utilize to see Spider-Man: Homecoming.
I had been using a BenQ 75 Hz TN panel for over two years without experiencing any problems. There are no dead pixels or anything like that. When I first turned on BenQ MOBIUZ EX3210U display, I was completely taken aback. The transition from TN to IPS is as smooth as everyone says it to be. It’s as though the world has changed overnight. Colors pop, and the room is much brighter. The longer reaction times of an IPS display have always put me off purchasing one, but with 1ms response times now available, it’s a no-brainer. It is possible, as one reviewer pointed out, to have your cake and eat it too. I genuinely believe that this is the greatest 1080p/144hz monitor available until 4K displays with 2.1 HDMI become available, or until the PS5 allows for 2K resolution (the Xbox Series X currently does), or until 4K monitors with 2.1 HDMI become available. It has a very contemporary appearance, thanks to the small bezels and matte finish on the screen. In addition, the stand is very stunning! Extremely useful in every way. Don’t waste any time!
