My Honest Review on BenQ GW2780T Monitor

Employed as a programmer, I’ve had headaches all the time because of eye exhaustion. Then this eye-care screen grabbed my attention, I just decided to check to see how it functions, if not I’m going to come back. In reality, it helped my eye condition.

I tried a lot of monitors at work, inexpensive and pricey ones, to find one that would support my symptoms, I found a handful, but the cost is either very expensive or all of them need a proper computer system to use their full capacity. For eg, the good one I’ve used is Dell 4K ISP, but it’s worth more than $500 (2018) and it’s on offer. Other products are fine, but I eventually understand that it’s just a brand all of them are using the same maker. But the pricing is essentially based on how famous the brand is.

BenQ isn’t a well-known company in the US, but I used to have a BenQ laptop that I really like, so I had a really good feeling about this brand.

At the time of buying, I had about three choices: this display, the Dell one, and the Acer one. I used to have an Acer monitor and it’s terrible, it looks really good, but after you’ve used it, you’ll know it’s “affordable.” Back in 2015, the Acer display was almost the same price as this one, not worth it. Dell one was more pricey, around $400 dollars and 4K, but I know that 4K displays typically need a better system, I had a mac mini (last generation) at work, it doesn’t allow 4K, why bother investing so much on it.

This BenQ GW2780T screen is as defined on the Amazon website. I just had it for a couple of days, and after a day of work, and then I used this screen at home, I didn’t develop the migraine I once had. Hope it’s a sustainable one, too.
