Crisp, true-to-life colors come to life in Full HD 1080p quality. With 1920×1080 resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio, movies and games seem more lifelike and dramatic, while minute details and text are clearer.

Say goodbye to stuttering and tearing with AMD FREESYNC Technology. Acer SB271 bi monitor’s frames are synchronized with the graphics card’s frames using AMD FREESYNC, which reduces screen tearing and provides the smoothest gaming experience.

Gracefully Ultrathin: The elegantly thin design guarantees that this monitor looks fantastic and fits comfortably in spaces of any size. The zero-frame design maximizes screen view from edge to edge, while the attractive base with its concentric circle pattern looks fantastic wherever it’s positioned.

Fast reaction time of 1ms improved players’ in-game experience. Any fast-paced action or dramatic transitions will be presented cleanly, without the annoyance of smearing or ghosting.

Acer SB271 bi Monitor comes with AcerVisionCare which includes multiple technologies to decrease eye strain and give a more pleasant viewing experience. Say goodbye to irritating screen flickering and protect your eyes from strained blue light.

Rapid Refresh Rate: The 75Hz refresh rate increases the number of frames per second, resulting in smooth 2D motion scenarios. Acer Monitors’ 75Hz refresh rate reduces frame rendering time, reduces input latency, and provides gamers with an outstanding in-game experience.

My Honest Acer SB271 bi Monitor Review

This monitor is definitely a fantastic buy. Is the color and contrast excellent? No. Is it the fastest refresh rate on the market? No. However, if you’re on a budget, this gadget looks and performs well. It features a matte screen that does an excellent job of reducing glare. The chassis inside which it is housed is truly gorgeous. It has both a VGA and an HDMI port. When a source is switched on, the screen recognizes signals and turns on. When the chosen source is turned off, it instantly searches and switches to any alternative sources that are available. If no connections are available, it immediately enters standby mode. The power cord is 6 or more feet long and simple to wrap, with half of it made of extremely thin wire. The ON LED is not distracting or too bright. When turned off, it seems to be a borderless display. And, contrary to popular belief, it does have tilt, but neither forward or left to right. It either stands straight or leans back. Unfortunately, it lacks VESA mount holes, but at this price, you can’t be serious about your monitor arrangement. When using VGA, small lettering has some issues properly displaying, thus I suggest using HDMI. Although using the Windows 10 settings to customize how text is shown addresses this, not everyone will know how to do so.

Acer SB271 bi lacks speakers, which I like since most monitors do. This monitor offers a TON of gaming, night usage, color changes, and general settings that can all be stored into three distinct gaming profiles. You may even choose which options display in the fast menu. When you hit any of the menu buttons, a menu appears that clearly shows all of the buttons. This monitor’s menus are really simple to grasp and manage, which is a rarity in and of itself. It’s also worth mentioning that it may show crosshairs and the monitor’s current refresh rate. It also includes FreeSync support for AMD graphics card users. If you just have DVI, you can acquire DVI to HDMI converters if your computer’s visual output supports it. The base and monitor are connected by a single screw with a hand flap, so you don’t need a screw diver if you don’t want to use one. It’s rather durable, and the screen doesn’t distort even when squeezed firmly. The base is rather big, but this should not be an issue for most people. I haven’t observed any screen lag when compared to my $300 1ms reaction time monitor (and I’m fussy). Its contrast is a tad flat in certain situations, but it seems lot more lively in games, particularly after some tinkering. Having said that, I prefer the fact that it seems flat while working on papers since it makes it much simpler to concentrate.

Overall, Acer SB271 bi monitor has an excellent feature balance and seems to be a very strong 1080p 75Hz IPS screen for any monitor under $160, much alone the $80 I purchased. If you don’t require a faster refresh rate and don’t want to spend more than $200, I would recommend purchasing this monitor. It’s tough, filled with features, and looks great in every situation. If I could, I’d give it 1000 stars.
