The overall number of projector pixels is calculated by the native resolution of the projector. The further pixels the monitor will accommodate, the clearer and more accurate pictures can appear. Higher resolution is extremely relevant to home theater projectors. By contrasting the amount of pixels of YABER Y61 1280*720 and 800*480 with the same screen size, the definition is 4 times larger. Both amazon projectors that have not defined the resolution are native to 480P or 240P while Y61 Projector is native to 1280x720P (1920x1080P supported).

My Honest Review on YABER Y61 Projector
Unpacking, First Impressions:
The projector came packaged in a ton of foam packing material and showed no signs of harm. The projector contained a remote, HDMI cord, audio cable, power cable, and guidance pamphlets. The remote requires 2 AAA batteries, but they’re not used.
The YABER Y61 projector itself seems very thin and lightweight. It is mainly smooth on both angles, and the outer layer is mostly made of rubber. There’s a silver section at the top of the projector where the projector function buttons are mounted. The app buttons feel good and clicky, but it’s not a simple interface because of the arrangement of the buttons. Luckily, the projector came with a remote computer, which is more intuitive to use. Batteries are not included in the kit and AAA batteries are available remotely. There’s a tripod mounting point on the bottom of the unit.
Setting up and Performance:
My key intention to have this mini projector was to be compact. So my rig is made up of a tripod, a screen and a chromecast. I’m hoping to put up a computer at some stage, but for now, I’ve just got a light colored wall in my home that’s pretty flat I’m firing the YABER Y61 projector toward. I can reach a screen of almost 100″ at around 10 feet apart. I was interested to know how wide a pixel was against the wall, so I measured it, and it was around 1.5mm thick. Even so, the consistency was sufficient enough for me to interpret the text on the phone. So far, viewing TV shows and film has been fine.
As far as the degree of light is concerned, I suppose a reasonable way to explain it is if the atmosphere is dark enough so you can read a book easily without straining your eyes, so that setting is the upper limit that the projector can function well in. The colder, the stronger, of course. I’d certainly find improved results until I set up the correct projector panel as well.
The hum of this system is a traditional projector. There’s a fan on the inside that cools off the unit creating the noise. It isn’t terrible though. Without a problem, the built-in speakers undoubtedly overshadow the fan. The YABER Y61 projector does have an audio port where the audio might be sent out to external speakers, but I haven’t been able to test that yet.
As far as cooling is concerned, as a measure, I kept the projector on for 2 hours to approximate the usual time of my watch, and took a thermal picture of the projector. There is an exhaust on the projector side, which has all of the system inputs. My thermal camera picked up 127 degrees F at the upper limit when it was pointing at the exhaust side. One odd feature I pointed out about this computer was the chrome top section where the interface buttons were. In reality, it worked as a heatsink and had a temperature of 105 degrees F and helped to dissipate some of the heat. As a comparison, the room had an ambient temperature of 77 degrees during my examination, and it did not fluctuate. Even, my sensor has a +/-2 per cent tolerance on it. Overall, I was delighted with the thermal and noise conditions.
Purpose:
I wish YABER Y61 projector might have come with a carrying bag. My purpose is to use this as a handheld unit, so it would have been good to be able to pack it up and take it, and my tripod with me. The extension cord is also 5 foot long. I wish it was a bit longer.
Conclusions:
It’s been terrific with my needs. I also like the way that I can only insert my chromecast into the HDMI and USB ports and just use it like that. That makes the YABER Y61 projector completely portable. Even, for me, noise and thermals were not a topic of importance.
