My Honest LG 32ML600M-B Monitor Review
We just got it, so no news on long-term dependability, but we’ve had previous LG screens that are still operating after many years, so I’m not worried about this one. Because the screen is 32 inches in size and has “only” 1080p resolution, the pixels are visible when you are extremely near to it. However, when I sit a reasonable distance away (2′), the pixels are not visible. If the sight of pixels bothers you and your vision is extremely acute, you may wish to invest in a better resolution at this size. This is an excellent option for everyone else.
In terms of brightness, LG 32ML600M-B monitor is a little TOO bright, something I’ve previously experienced in other LG displays. The first thing I do is go into the settings and reduce the brightness to zero, which is still fairly blinding in a dark environment. So, if you plan on using the monitor in a well-lit environment, you won’t have to worry about it not being bright enough.
And, of course, the price point is just in the sweet spot, now at or just around $200, making this a terrific bargain in monitor real estate, particularly coming from a recognized brand. So, if you do not need 4K resolution in this size range, you may save some money. Having said that, I would use a higher resolution for anything greater than roughly 32-34″ in diameter.
