My Honest CRUA CR270CM Gaming Monitor Review
A fantastic gaming monitor. I replaced the 5 year old 60hz display. the finest improvement ever I’m sold on the curved screen. It’s significantly cooler than my apartment. The use of a matte coating on the frame and edges keeps dust at bay. excellent well-thought-out design
The color profile produced by the manufacturer defaults was excellent. I did increase the brightness to match my gaming needs. There are a lot of TN panels on Amazon with poor viewing angles or IPS panels that can’t go over 60hz refresh rate. Most of them will not disclose that and will mislead consumers into purchasing them. This VA panel offers a refresh rate of 165hz and decent viewing angles. I’ll never go back to TN or IPS.
I’ve been gaming for a week on CRUA CR270CM monitor. Oh, it’s as smooth as butter. I did had to swap from regular hdmi to Displayport cords since hdmi cannot exceed 60hz. I also had to make some changes in the display settings. And since I’m using a laptop, the displayport cable that came with it only works with desktop computers. As a result, I had to purchase a tiny dp cable. But it’s all worthwhile.
