My Honest ASUS VP32AQ Review
I’ve only had the monitors for a few days, so I can’t speak to how they’ll hold up in the long run, but for the time being, they’re great. I purchased two of these 1080p 144hz IPS monitors. Each of them has the same light IPS glow that all screens of this kind have. There is no excessive light emanating from any corner or edge, and there are no dead pixels. I’m using Nvidia’s Gsync control panel to run FreeSync, and it works perfectly with the displayport connections that came with the monitors. The displays feature an FPS counter that works with FreeSync, which I greatly enjoy coming from non-FreeSync monitors. I can’t comment on how realistic the colors are, but I can tell that there are a plethora of settings to select from, each of which can be customized to your own aesthetic preferences.
It should be mentioned that the built-in speakers are subpar, but I seldom use them since you can’t expect much from the monitor speakers. I am really pleased with ASUS VP32AQ monitor, and I would certainly recommend it if you are a gamer who wants to stay at 1080p rather than going up in resolution.
